Hume Brophy will be hosting a breakfast briefing with Fine Gael’s Brexit Spokesperson and Chair of the Seanad Special Select Committee on the Withdrawal of the UK from the EU, Senator Neale Richmond on Tuesday 31st July at 7.30am, in the Hume Brophy office, 14 Herbert Street, Dublin 2.
Two years have passed since the Brexit referendum. Negotiations on the terms of the UK exit are well underway, however, until those terms are agreed, it is unclear just how the UK will fare with its trade relationships with Ireland and the EU. This breakfast briefing, which takes place following the high-profile resignations of David Davis and Boris Johnson in recent days, will discuss the current state of play in the Brexit negotiations at a time when the shape of Brexit is increasingly unclear. This is a crucial phase in the process of the UK leaving the EU, and with the October European Council deadline in sight, we believe this will be an extremely interesting morning of debate and discussion.
