James Wharton is a former UK Government Minister for Local Growth and the Northern Powerhouse and for International Development, where he oversaw a budget of £5 billion, between 2015 and 2017. He sat on the Board of the Conservative Party and is a past Chairman of the United and Cecil Club. He served as Conservative MP for the northern seat of Stockton South from 2010-2017. James provides strategic political communications advice to clients internationally and develops public affairs strategies on Brexit and trade issues.
