Dublin, 13 November 2019 International communications consultancy Hume Brophy today announces the appointment of former Special Advisor to Tánaiste Simon Coveney TD, Caitríona Fitzpatrick, as Senior Account Director in its Public Affairs Team.

Caitríona will provide strategic advice to Hume Brophy clients in Ireland and internationally and will contribute to the development of public affairs strategies on Brexit and wider trade issues.

Caitríona spent 11 years working at the cutting edge of the Irish political and media landscape as a Special Advisor and Political Director for the Tánaiste.  She has extensive, in-depth experience across Government policy, public affairs, political strategy, crisis management and communications, speech writing and briefings, strategic media planning and campaign management.

During her time in Government, she worked in the Departments of Agriculture, Food & Marine; Defence; Housing, Planning & Local Government; Foreign Affairs & Trade with Responsibility for Brexit.

Caitríona is a fluent Irish speaker and spent the last six months leading the roll out of a new flagship brand for the Irish Tourism Authority, Fáilte Ireland.

Law Graduate Hannah Moore joins Hume Brophy from Elevate PR in Dublin.
