Sergiu Scolobiuc

I am a Director in Penta Brussels since July 2022, primarily focusing on energy, environment, and transport policies. My role is to deliver tactical regulatory advice, provide guidance on the EU policy and decision-making processes, and design and execute public affairs strategies for our clients. Before joining Penta, I worked for 3 years as a lobbyist for the largest non-energy extractive industry in Europe, as well as in the European Parliament, having brief experiences in diplomacy and the private sector. 

I hold master’s degrees in European Integration and Political Science from Vrije Universiteit Brussel and Université Libre de Bruxelles, as well as a BA in Political Science from the University of Vienna. Having lived in a few European countries, I speak fluently English, German, and Romanian and have an intermediate level of French.
