Former MEP Tom Vandenkendelaere joins Hume Brophy advisory team

Tom will provide strategic counsel to Hume Brophy and its clients on their interactions with the European institutions. He will also contribute to the development of public affairs strategies with an emphasis on sustainability and new technologies.

During his 5 years as an MEP in the EPP group, Tom focused on agriculture issues, as well as social affairs and taxation. As a member of the Delegation to Australia and New Zealand he was also involved in trade policy.

Commenting on the appointment, Jill Craig, Managing Director of Hume Brophy Brussels said: “With the European Parliament looking more fractured than ever, Tom’s ability to deliver high quality political advice makes him an important addition to our team. Our clients will especially value his understanding of and commitment to some of the key policy issues for the next 5-year term.”
