I am a Director in Penta Brussels since July 2022, primarily focusing on energy, environment, and transport policies. My role is to deliver tactical regulatory advice, provide guidance on the EU policy and decision-making processes, and design and execute public affairs strategies for our clients.
I’m currently an Associate part of the Graduate Programme at Penta Group. I am based in Brussels but also collaborate with the Dublin and London offices, being heavily involved with public affairs work in transport, sustainability and financial services. My role comprises of supporting the team with quality research and reports that help achieve our clients’ business objectives. My past positions include working as an International Relations specialist at the Italian Ministry of Defence.

As Senior Director in International Financial Services at Penta, I work with high-profile financial services clients to provide strategic communications, political and tactical regulatory advice across key markets. My focus is on understanding client objectives and designing and delivering campaigns to meet their business needs, with due consideration to the political and regulatory environment in which they operate.
I am a Senior Director in Penta’s Brussels office. I support a range of international clients with interests in transport, the environment and travel retail. I help our clients to advance flagship projects and grow and protect their reputation in the European Commission and European Parliament.

I am adept at transforming the perception of both emerging and high-profile businesses and organisations, with a keen eye for a narrative that shapes public opinion. I am highly regarded for my ability to manage sensitive reputational matters, providing strategic counsel and crisis communications support at board level. I have a strong grounding in UK and European public policy having led public affairs campaigns focused on decision-makers in Westminster and Brussels.
I am a Managing Director in Penta’s cross-jurisdiction transport team, working on client briefs primarily in the aviation industry – as well as several of the heavily regulated sectors associated with it – in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific. Before joining Penta, I held roles at Heathrow Airport and communications consultancies in New Zealand, and spent several years as a special advisor in the New Zealand Government and Office of the Prime Minister.
I lead the Agri-Food practice in Brussels and specialize, in addition to the Agri-business, in the trade, and chemicals sectors. With over 7 years of experience in European affairs in Brussels, I specialize in the Agri-business, trade, and chemicals sectors. As a public affairs professional who has worked in both the public and private sectors with companies and governments, I manage projects and advise clients, supporting them in reaching their objectives.
I am the Partner of Penta’s Transport and Mobility practice and have 15 years’ experience working in public affairs. I focus primarily on transport policy at the EU level. I specialise in dealing with heavily regulated sectors and helping our clients to develop and maintain networks with senior figures in the European Institutions. I am also a Certified Data Privacy Practitioner and provide advice on GDPR concerns.
I am the Managing Director of Penta’s Hong Kong office and also the firm’s financial services practice lead in Asia. With close to 20 years of experience in corporate communications, I specialise in strategising communications programmes for MNCs and international financial services and professional firms operating in the region, as well as for local semi-government bodies and NGOs.
I have 30 years’ experience in the European Commission, most recently as the Director for Renewables, Energy Efficiency and Innovation at DG Energy. I bring significant experience and vision of the EU’s energy policies, deep understanding of the dynamics of regulation, and insight into the Commission’s senior level decision-making.
I was a UK Liberal Democrat MEP for five years and an influential member of the European Parliament’s Agriculture Committee, working on CAP reform, the EU budget and trade policy. Previously, I served as Chief Whip and Deputy Finance Minister in the Scottish Parliament (1999-2007). I also ran a large family farming enterprise and was NFU Scotland President (1997/99).
I was Chief of Staff and later Special Adviser to two Directors-General of the World Trade Organisation. Previously, I was a lead trade negotiator for Hong Kong and head of its representation to the WTO. After that, I went on to serve as Special Adviser to the Secretary-General of the U.N. Conference on Trade and Development. With my in-depth knowledge of WTO agreements and processes, I advise clients on international trade policy issues.
