As Senior Director in International Financial Services at Penta, I work with high-profile financial services clients to provide strategic communications, political and tactical regulatory advice across key markets. My focus is on understanding client objectives and designing and delivering campaigns to meet their business needs, with due consideration to the political and regulatory environment in which they operate.
I am Managing Director of Corporate Affairs, London, leading group-wide campaigns and drawing upon almost a decade of experience as a corporate affairs and reputation specialist. I am adept at transforming the perception of both emerging and high-profile businesses and organisations, with a keen eye for a narrative that shapes public opinion. I am highly regarded for my ability to manage sensitive reputational matters, providing strategic counsel and crisis communications support at board level. I have a strong grounding in UK and European public policy having led public affairs campaigns focused on decision-makers in Westminster and Brussels.
I am currently serving as Managing Director of Public Affairs. I am responsible for advising a wide range of organisations about how best to tackle reputational, political and regulatory issues. I work with the Technology, Energy, Healthcare and Business Services sectors and possess 30 years of relevant experience.
I am the Partner leading Penta’s international financial services practice focussing on providing clients with a borderless offer across London, Brussels, Asia and the United States. This is vital as the issues facing financial services are often international in nature and need to be considered on a cross-border basis. I have 20 years public policy experience as civil servant, regulator, diplomat and in industry.
I am Penta’s Managing Partner, Europe and Asia, and also a strategic communications and government relations consultant specialising in Anglo / Irish affairs and UK EU affairs. I have extensive international corporate strategy, crisis communications, international and integrated campaigning experience in the disruptive technology and energy sectors as well sustainability adaptation.
I became Non-Executive Chairman of Penta in April 2021 and Chair our Main Board. I use 35+ years’ experience of running award winning media companies to help guide the future direction, strategy, governance and management of our business to create a world class company that that employs talented & highly motivated staff; executes impactful and effective work for our clients and provides financial rewards for our shareholders.
